Subscription Policy

1. What remains free

The complete Bhagavad Gita scripture library included in the app, including all 701 verses, remains available to read without a paid subscription. Premium unlocks additional counsel, guided-study, audio, and practice features described in the app.

2. Plans and prices

shastra.chat may offer weekly and annual subscription plans. The app currently displays a weekly plan and an annual plan, and may offer an introductory seven-day trial to eligible users. The exact localized price, billing period, trial eligibility, and included features shown in Apple’s purchase sheet at the time of purchase are authoritative.

3. Trial and automatic renewal

If Apple confirms that you are eligible for a trial, you will not be charged during the stated trial period. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, Apple will charge your Apple account for the selected plan. A subscription then renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Trials are generally limited to one per person or Apple account and may not be available to previous subscribers. Apple determines eligibility.

4. Billing

Apple processes payment and may charge your account within 24 hours before renewal. RevenueCat helps us verify subscription entitlement but does not receive your full payment-card details. Taxes and currency conversion may vary by location.

5. How to cancel

You can cancel from the shastra.chat customer center when available, or directly through your Apple account:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
3. Select shastra.chat and choose Cancel Subscription.

Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. After cancellation, premium access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for.

6. Deleting the app or account

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Deleting your shastra.chat account also does not cancel billing through Apple. Cancel the Apple subscription separately before deleting your account if you do not want it to renew.

7. Refunds

Apple controls App Store payments and refund decisions. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Any statutory refund or withdrawal rights remain available where required by law.

8. Restore purchases

If an active subscription is not recognized, use Restore in the paywall or subscription settings while signed into the Apple account that made the purchase. If access is still missing, contact us with the date and product purchased. Do not email a full receipt containing unnecessary personal information.

9. Price and feature changes

We may change prices or premium features. Apple will provide any confirmation or notice required for a price increase. If you do not agree to a new price, cancel before it takes effect. We will not remove access to a period you have already paid for except where required to address misuse, security, or law.
