shastra.chat is a Bhagavad Gita reading, listening, reflection, and AI-guidance app. This page explains the information involved when you use the app or this website.
Information the app may process
- Account and sign-in information you choose to provide.
- App activity needed for features such as reading progress, bookmarks, study-plan progress, streaks, and notification preferences.
- Questions you send to Krishna’s Counsel, along with the verse context needed to produce a grounded response.
- Technical information needed to maintain security, reliability, and purchases.
Your private reflections
Your journal entries are designed to remain private. They are not analyzed, used as context for AI guidance, or used to train AI models.
How information is used
Information is used to operate the features you request, save your progress, send reminders you enable, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. shastra.chat does not sell your personal information.
Service providers
The app relies on carefully selected providers for services such as authentication, data storage, AI responses, app distribution, notifications, and subscription processing. Those providers process only the information needed to perform their services and are governed by their own privacy terms.
Your choices
You can change notification settings, manage an App Store subscription, or request account deletion from within the app. You may also contact hello@shastra.chat with a privacy request.
